Multi-day tours of Greece
One car, one driver, the whole trip
Some of Greece is too far to see in a day. Meteora and Olympia already run twelve hours door to door. Thessaloniki is 499 km from Athens, and Ioannina, Monemvasia, Pylos and the Mani are further still. A multi-day trip solves that: the same car and the same driver for the whole route, your luggage staying where it is, and no coach timetable telling you when to leave.
You tell us where you want to go and how long you have. We build the route, work out the driving so no day is punishing, and give you a single price before you commit.
What it costs
Multi-day trips start at 500 euro per day. That covers the vehicle, fuel, every toll, and your driver — who on these trips is a private guide as well, so you get the history and the context of each place as you go rather than simply a lift between them.
On longer routes the distance rate takes over, from 1 euro per kilometre and often less. Because the price follows the ground you actually cover rather than a fixed package, a well-planned loop usually works out cheaper per day than booking each leg separately.
Either way your quote is a single figure, agreed in writing before you travel. Nothing is added afterwards.
We book the hotels too, if you would like us to, along with anything else the trip needs — restaurant tables, site tickets, a state-licensed guide at the archaeological sites, ferry crossings. Tell us what you want handled and we will handle it.
Where people go
A few routes that work well. None of them is fixed — they are starting points.
- Northern Greece, 3 to 4 days. Athens to Thessaloniki with Thermopylae and Meteora on the way, then Mount Olympus, Dion and the royal tombs at Vergina.
- The Peloponnese loop, 3 to 5 days. Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplio, down through Sparta and Mystras to Monemvasia, then back by Kalamata, Ancient Messene and Olympia.
- Epirus and the west, 4 to 5 days. Delphi and Arachova, then north to Ioannina, the Zagori villages and the Vikos gorge.
- The Mani and the deep south, 3 days. Kalamata, Areopoli, the Diros caves and Cape Tainaron, with Pylos and Methoni on the way back.
