A vehicle can have enough passenger seats and still be the wrong choice for your luggage. Describe the whole travelling party before choosing a category, especially when the group has several large cases, a stroller or equipment.
Count people and bags separately
Give the total number of passengers, including children, then list large suitcases and cabin bags separately. Describe unusually large or rigid items with approximate dimensions. A bag described only as “standard” is difficult to assess because travellers use that word for very different cases. Mention folding strollers, mobility equipment or sports items before the vehicle is confirmed.
A child seat changes the practical arrangement
TransferHub’s published FAQ says child seats can be requested without an extra charge. Include each child’s age and the seating request in the enquiry so the suitable arrangement can be confirmed. Passenger count alone does not identify the seating setup. Do not assume that space around a fitted child seat is usable for loose luggage.
Ask for a confirmed combination
The useful answer is whether the proposed vehicle fits your actual party and bags. Ask the team to confirm that combination in writing, rather than inferring luggage capacity from a photograph or the maximum passenger number. If the arrangement is close to a vehicle’s limit, discuss a larger category before accepting. An advertised category is not a promise of a specific model unless your confirmation says so.
Keep access requirements explicit
If a passenger needs help boarding or a particular access arrangement, describe the practical requirement before booking. A vehicle described as a van does not itself establish wheelchair access or a particular restraint system. Confirm the actual proposed setup and whether the passenger will remain in equipment while travelling. Do not rely on a generic fleet image to answer this.
Check the quote and changes
The published FAQ distinguishes luggage charging from physical capacity: no luggage surcharge does not mean unlimited bags. Check the quoted category, party, luggage, child seating and route together. If bags or passengers change, contact the team before travelling so the original choice can be reassessed. See the existing fleet page for categories and request a quote for the combination you need.
Send a luggage list the team can assess
A useful request names the passenger total, children needing seats, the number of large cases, the number of cabin bags and each bulky item. If an item is unusually long or rigid, add its approximate dimensions and explain whether it folds or separates. This gives more information than saying that a group has “normal luggage”. Include luggage carried by children and anything purchased or collected later in the trip if it will travel on the return leg. You can describe equipment without sending personal medical documents. Where the arrangement is important to a passenger’s ability to travel, ask the team to explain the actual proposed boarding and storage setup rather than inferring it from a category label.
Use the confirmation as a final packing check
Compare the final vehicle proposal with your list before accepting. If one traveller later adds a large suitcase or a stroller is replaced with a larger model, tell the team while there is time to reassess. Do the same for a return airport journey: the outward luggage list is not automatically correct after a holiday. Keep passports, medicines and other essentials with you in an appropriate way rather than treating the vehicle’s luggage area as your only accessible storage. Before the vehicle leaves the pickup or drop-off, check that your party’s items have been accounted for. These are planning checks; this guide does not establish dimensions, loading arrangements or a guaranteed capacity for any TransferHub model.
Is this guide a confirmed booking?
No. Use it to prepare your enquiry, then review the actual route or tour, vehicle, price and conditions. The accepted written confirmation establishes the arrangement; saving an article or sending a request does not reserve a vehicle.
