Athens and Cape Sounio, city and sea in one day
The full-day combination that shows you both faces of Attica. The morning covers the Athens essentials: Acropolis, Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus and the old town. After lunch the road follows the Athenian Riviera south, all beaches and marinas, until the Temple of Poseidon appears on its cape above the Aegean, ideally just in time for the light to soften.

Yes. The tour is private, so the order is yours. The usual plan is the Acropolis in the morning and Sounio in the afternoon light; starting at Sounio makes sense if you want the Acropolis late in the day when it is quieter.
Allow 8 to 9 hours door to door with a 09:00 start: the Acropolis and city monuments, lunch in Plaka, the coast road and an hour and a quarter at the Temple of Poseidon, back around 17:30.
Your driver-guide speaks English, Greek and French and briefs you between stops. Drivers are not licensed to guide inside archaeological sites; a state-licensed guide for the Acropolis can be arranged on request at an extra charge. Entrance tickets are not included.
