Pickup and meeting point

Pickup is from your hotel, apartment or the port in Athens. If you are staying in a hotel, your driver waits for you in the lobby; at an apartment, at the entrance of the building; at the port, at the gate as you disembark, holding a sign with your name on it. Give us the full address when you book, and mention it if your street is pedestrianised or has restricted vehicle access, so the exact meeting point can be confirmed.

Book at least one day in advance. Send your date, pickup address, number of adults and children, and any child seats you need. A request is not a confirmed booking: your confirmation sets out the pickup time, meeting point, price and inclusions for your party.

What is included and what is not

Included: a private vehicle and driver for your party only, pickup and drop-off at your Athens hotel, apartment or port, an air-conditioned vehicle and bottled water. Your driver speaks English, Greek and French and briefs you on the history on the way.

Not included: entrance tickets for the archaeological site and museum, which you pay at the gate or buy online in advance (a skip-the-line option can be arranged on request), and lunch. Lunch is flexible: a partner restaurant arranged on request (ask us for details) or a place of your own choice, at your own expense unless agreed in your quote. Drivers are not licensed to accompany you inside archaeological sites; if you would like a state-licensed guide to walk the site and museum with you, ask when booking and we will arrange one for an extra charge.

Good to know before you go

The archaeological site climbs the slope of Mount Parnassus on paths and steps, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sun protection in the warmer months. The stadium at the top is optional if you prefer a shorter walk. Opening hours at archaeological sites can change with the season, so check them for your date before you travel.
